How does "watch an ad to unlock" work?

On the Free plan you can build and preview your resume as often as you like. When you download a PDF, you watch one short video ad and the download unlocks. Pro and Premium have no ads and unlimited PDF exports.

What counts as an AI optimization?

Each time CVAlign analyzes a job description and rewrites your resume for it, that is one AI optimization. Editing your details, previewing and changing templates do not count.

Which plan should I choose?

Free suits occasional applications. Pro is for active job seekers who tailor many applications and want cover letters and an ad-free experience. Premium is for heavy users who need up to 500 optimizations a month and priority processing.
